Countertenor Lester Lardenoye was a choral scholar in the Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge, after which he continued his studies at the Early Music Department of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.

Currently based in The Netherlands, he divides his time between various professional ensembles and his work as a freelance opera and oratorio soloist. Recent recitals include the Festival Jeunes Talents in Paris and the Fringe programme of the Utrecht Early Music Festival.
